At Trinity St. Peter’s we believe in providing the very best quality teaching and learning for all of our pupils so that our school’s vision statement becomes a reality.

We are proud of our broad and rich  curriculum for both Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 and 2,  which is aligned to our school’s vision and values. This engages and excites all learners and provides opportunities for deeper learning so that they will all shine like the stars that they are in all that they do.

We have created our own Teaching and Learning model bespoke to our school. This '4C Thinking Skill' model instills a love for learning enabling children to become curious, creative, critical, resilient learners who are kind to themselves and to others so that they can be the best that can be.

We use a range of valuable and engaging stimuli including class visits to places of interest, as well as using Twitter and Skype, to further connect pupil’s learning with experts to widen their experience of the community and the wider world they live in.

Each half term the curriculum enquiry alternates between History and Geography where the pupils have opportunities to work independently, in small groups and even with their buddies within their phase group!

In addition to this, the school works beyond the National Curriculum so that the children access a current, relevant curriculum, which contextualizes the world in which they live in right now.

We are very proud of the class blogs and Twitter feeds which showcase the outstanding curriculum our pupils are provided with each day to our parents and wider community.
