Nursery - Autumn 1 - Week 5
Date: 3rd Oct 2023 @ 10:08am
Phew what a very busy week we have had! Nursery you are superstars
This week we have enjoyed learning a little more about our school values and meeting our special characters that help us to remember them. The children understand that we wear our uniform to show we belong to Trinity St Peter’s family, including our churches Holy Trinity and St Peter’s. The children loved hearing about Buddy, Leo, Meta, Cuddles and Mo and are able to talk about them and what they represent in relation to the school star. Well done Nursery!
The children have also continued to learn about Harvest and enjoyed the story of ‘Farmer Duck’. They have enjoyed acting out the story with their friends and discussing how important the job of a farmer is.
In small groups, the children have enjoyed making ‘hedgehog bread’ with Grayson. They took turns to measure out the ingredients, mix it up and then kneaded the bread into their hedgehog shape. Once the dough was in shape, they made cuts with scissors for the spikes and added two raisins. We hope you have enjoyed eating the bread at home!
We hope you have a lovely weekend and look forward to seeing you on Monday.
