Nursery - Autumn 2 - Week 3

On Thursday we welcomed Caroline into class for our Godly Play session, Caroline talked to the children about Kindness and how God wants us all to be kind and look after each other. Thank you, Caroline, we do enjoy our Godly Play dates.

The children have enjoyed taking part in World Nursery Rhyme week. They have enjoyed singing different Nursery Rhymes and then completing various activities linked to them. Ask the children if they can sing any to you?

It was ‘Kindness week’ in school this week that was launched with our very own school video, please follow the link if you have not already seen it! The children enjoyed talking about the different people around the school who help them like Mrs Meredith and Mrs Higgins who work in our office. They decided they would like to say ‘thank you’ to them by inviting them to the Nursery classroom and giving them a nice cup of tea and a piece of freshly baked cake, everyone certainly enjoyed themselves. We ended the week by talking about ‘Children in Need’ and how they raise money for children across the country to help them thrive and be the best they can be.

Please can you ensure your child has a warm coat in school at all times and that it is clearly labelled with their name, thank you
