Nursery - Autumn 2 - Week 1

We hope you all had an amazing half term and are ready for the excitement and fun that this next half term has to bring!!!

On Monday the children enjoyed another Forest school session. They took their seats and recapped on our Forest School rules. Using the story ’Christopher Pumpkin’ as a stimulus, the children worked together to collect leaves and create their very own class Pumpkin, it looked amazing and what great team work!

The children have really enjoyed our new role-play area based on the story ‘Room on the Broom’, by Julia Donaldson. The children love this story! They have enjoyed dressing up as the different characters and retelling the story in their own words. We also used different pictures from the story to create a ‘flow map’ to help us recall what happened at the beginning, middle and end of the story. 

Please can you ensure your child has a warm coat in school at all times and that it is clearly labelled with their name, thank you
