Nursery - Summer 2 - Week 4

What a fun week we have had this week.
We have continued our ‘Under the sea’ theme and this week we have been learning about turtles. We recapped the book ‘Commotion in the Ocean’ and played a game of ‘Commotion in the Ocean, guess who’. Some of the children then used what they had learnt to paint or draw turtles during their play. What super stars you all are!
On Wednesday we had sports day! The children took part in three races and their lovely families and friends came to watch. Nursery you were amazing, well done to each and every one of you! In the afternoon we went to our ‘WOW’ service in church. Our friends in Reception said a lovely prayer and one of the Nursery children lit the candle. Thank you so much Anne and Caroline for a lovely service.
On Thursday, Nursery met their ‘buddies’ in year 5. We had so much fun outside with our TSP friends, playing games, reading books and playing in the sand. Thank you so much to year 5 for a lovely service.
To finish the week, the children enjoyed exploring the Summer Fair. The children buddied up with their friends in year 5 and had so much fun. Thank you so much to Team TSP for organising this fantastic afternoon for everyone.
