What an exciting week we have had!

This week Nursery have been learning all about King Charles and his upcoming coronation. The children learnt the meaning of the word 'coronation' that this is a very special and memorable event. The children took part in lots of different activities such as making crowns, baking biscuits and making flags. The children have even acted out their own celebration in the home corner with afternoon tea. On Friday, we celebrated with our own coronation lunch. We enjoyed celebrating with our friends in Reception class, eating a delicious picnic, playing games and making a card for King Charles for his special day. We have had so much fun!

We had a very exciting visit from some slimy snails this week. The children thoroughly enjoyed observing and interacting with the snails and learning facts about them. They brought so much enjoyment to our class.

The children have been using their imagination and role play, using the crates to make buildings and vehicles. It has been lovely to see the children working together to achieve what they set out to do. Well done Nursery!

We hope you have a lovely bank holiday weekend.
