Thinking School Accreditation
We are delighted to announce that we are one of only 23 schools across the country to have achieved this prestigious award from Exeter University – and we are the only school in the North West of England! A copy of the report can be read below.
Achieving this accreditation is testament to the hard work and exceptional effort of all staff to deliver a curriculum that enables pupils to consistently further develop their logical, critical, creative and reflective thinking. Also to Think Tank, a group of pupils from Year 6, and class Thinking Ambassadors, who have motivated everyone to further develop our exciting and innovative approach this school year.
Pupils and staff enjoyed a school celebration on Thursday where in line with our ‘Imagine’ value, each child has taken home some mustard seeds as a way of marking this special occasion.
