Welcome to the Reception Class blog for the academic year 2026 – 2027.

Reminders for this half term:
- PE will take place on a Wednesday morning
- 14:20pm Thursday 17th September Phonics meeting in School Hall (letter to follow)
It has been so lovely to welcome all of the children to our Reception Class. We are very proud of how well they have settled and the amazing week they have had. We have spent the week exploring the classroom and making new friends. This week, through our story ‘Only One You’, the children have been learning that everyone is unique and special. We have explored what makes each of us different, practised being kind friends, built confidence in our new environment and celebrated the wonderful qualities that make us who we are. It has been a lovely start to the new term, we hope you have a great weekend and look forward to seeing you on Monday.
