Year 1 - Autumn 1 - Week 1

Welcome back, Year 1!
We are so happy to have all your happy, smiling faces back in class ready for the exciting year ahead. Your positivitiy and enthusiasm has bee delightful to see and has enabled us to have a fantastic first week back with some exciting and amazing memories already.
This week, we were shocked to find gigantic footsteps leading into our classroom, leading to a treasure box with a note from Madam Dragon, who challenged us to complete a series of tasks to earn gold stars just like Zog! The children had to work together, using our school SHINE values, to earn six gold stars to help Zog and also earn a special treat!
Throw a series of tasks, the chidlren explored the meaning of our values, as well as working as a team. They ensured that we included everyone and took turns along the way. We discusse the important of having fun whilst learning and helping our friends along the way.
We are so proud of the incredible start you have made, and cannot wait to see you flourish over the coming weeks.
