Where has that term gone? We cannot believe that it is time to finish for Christmas already.

Year 1 have a fun-packed, Christmas filled final week in school. We started our week with a 'Movie Morning' with tasty treats and delicious refreshments enjoyed by all thanks to Team TSP. On Tuesday, we once again jonied forces in our house teams an took part in a Christmas Sing Off. It ws highly competative and increbily enjoyable. On Wednesday, we enjoyed our Christmas Dinner as a class, even the teachers joined us in the hall for a delicious meal and to help pull the crackers. We had a busy day on Thursday, starting the day by supporting Year 2 with the Nativity performance as part of the KS1 Church Service. Later that day, some very cheeky elves surrprised us, causing havoc on our playground and even in our classroom! Finally, the whole school came together to watch the incredible, Churches Together Nativity, a huge thank you to the cast.

In addition to the wonderful Christmas events, Year 1, completed two fabulous topic days, Computing and DT. For computing, the cihldren explored what a computer was, navigating the different parts and functions whilst also using an Ipad. For DT, the children designed and created their own houses using a variety of materials in school. After, they reflected on their house and discussed what they would have done differently next time as well as one thing they loved about their house. Well done, Year 1.
