Clubhouse - Autumn 2 - Week 7
Date: 9th Dec 2024 @ 12:11pm
And just like that, Christmas is here.
We have had a very busy, but fun half term in the build up to Christmas.
The children have enjoyed taking part in a wide range of craft activities including our autumn animal pictures and making our own poppies using a variety of crafts and resources for Remembrance Day. The children especially enjoyed the build up to Christmas and the crafts that they got to take part in, in particular they liked designing and making their own Christmas decorations. Mrs Keyte created some amazing star decorations with the children, great fine motor skills were needed as the children threaded the straws and carefully followed the instructions to create the star shapes.
When the weather has permitted, the children have enjoyed their time outside, especially whizzing around on the light up scooters. Some children decided to create their own light display, following a routine to create a fantastic show. They have also enjoyed a wide range of playground games and when the weather was not on our side, we went to the hall to play a variety of games. I think a personal favourite was the snowball fight where the children made their own snowballs using newspaper and had 5 minutes to try and get as many snowballs out of their area. A great laugh was had by all!
We would to thank you for the very generous gifts that we have received and your continued support this term.
We hope you all have a merry, peaceful Christmas and we can’t wait to hear all about the children’s adventures when we return in January.
Merry Christmas, Love from the Clubhouse team x
