Gosh we can’t believe it is Easter already! The children continue to grow and flourish and we can’t believe how independent they are becoming. We hope you are as proud of them as we are! The children have enjoyed the brighter weather and exploring the outdoor area and preparing our pots for planting. Well done!

  • This half term the children have particularly enjoyed our theme of ‘Stories of 3’ and exploring different traditional tales, they have loved re-telling the different stories and their story book language is really developing.

Other highlights include:

  • Forest school we have enjoyed talking about spotting the signs of Spring and the changes it brings.
  • For International Women’s day we enjoyed the story ‘Girls can do anything’ by Carly Hart
  • Learning to play hop scotch and Hide and seek.
  • We enjoyed getting dressed up for ‘World Book Day’
  • Tasting porridge with different toppings whilst enjoying the story ‘Goldilocks and the 3 Bears’
  • Making Pancakes for Shrove Tuesday
  • Taking part in British Science week – with the theme ‘Change and Adapt’
  • Celebrated Mother’s Day, the children enjoyed making cards to bring home.
  • Taking part in our Easter Bonnet parade in St Peter’s Church
