Year 3 - Autumn 2 - Week 6
Date: 11th Dec 2025 @ 3:20pm

This week has been full of learning, creativity, and festive fun!
In RE, we reflected on everything we’ve learned this term. We remembered the story of 'Papa Panov' and how he was called by God. We had a thoughtful discussion about whether people feel the presence of God in the same way, and it was really interesting to hear everyone’s ideas.
In Maths, we’ve been working hard on dividing by 3 and 4, and we’ve started learning the 8 times table. The children are becoming confident mathematicians and are spotting patterns between the tables.
In English, we’ve been busy writing our own fantasy stories. Not only did we become authors, but we also turned into illustrators by painting pictures to go with our writing. The classroom has been filled with imagination and colour!
We also enjoyed watching the rest of the Rock Steady concerts, which were brilliant. Another highlight was the Nativity play by Churches Together. Some of our children even got to dress up and take part, which made it extra special.
On Wednesday, we sat down together for our Christmas dinner with crackers, hats, and plenty of jokes. Then on Friday, it was Christmas Jumper Day and the big Extravaganza! The children played Christmas games, laughed a lot, and had so much fun. A huge thank you to Team TSP for organising such a wonderful event.
To finish off the week, we tried something new, speed stacking! It was exciting to learn and everyone enjoyed the challenge.
Reminders:
- Tuesday 16th December - Christmas Party Day
- Wednesday 17th December - Finish at 1pm
