Year 4 - Autumn 2 - Week 6
Date: 11th Dec 2025 @ 2:12pm

The second-to-last week of term is upon us, and it’s been packed with learning and festive fun!
English saw us diving into the rules of writing dialogue. The children practised using speech marks correctly and created conversations between Hannah and Gorilla from Anthony Browne’s story, bringing their personalities to life.
Maths was all about exploring area. We calculated the area of shapes by counting squares, then got creative by making area robots, designing area zoos, and comparing the areas of different shapes to see which were the biggest and smallest.
RE gave us the chance to use our 4C thinking skills as we looked back on this term’s learning about symbols and light and their significance in the Christian faith.
Science took us on a journey through the digestive system, discovering how food is broken down and learning about the internal organs that make this process possible.
The festive celebrations continued with a trip to the Present Room, a wonderful production of the Christmas Story by Churches Together, a delicious Christmas Dinner Day, the dazzling TSP Extravaganza, and even a magical visit to see Santa in his grotto.
A huge thank you to Team TSP for making all these experiences possible – we are so grateful for their hard work and dedication in creating such a memorable week for everyone.
