It has been so lovely to welcome the children back to school this week. We have had a very successful start to the new term, with lots of smiles, enthusiasm, and eagerness to begin their learning.
A particular highlight was our outdoor learning session, where we introduced our new science topic: Living and Non-Living Things. The children thoroughly enjoyed exploring and making discoveries together outside.
Our curriculum map, which gives an overview of what the children will be learning this half term, has also been shared. You will find a copy attached, along with the PowerPoint we used at our welcome meeting.
Reminders for This Half Term
- PE Days: Thursday and Friday
- Outdoor Learning: Every Wednesday – children will need waterproofs and wellies if the weather requires.
- Book Club: Starting Wednesday lunchtimes.
- Reading Books: These will be sent home from next week.
- Snacks: Healthy snacks are provided daily, but children are also welcome to bring their own if they prefer.
We are really looking forward to all the exciting learning ahead and to sharing the children’s achievements with you over the coming weeks.

As 2022 comes to an end and we reflect upon the year gone by, we thank everyone for the kindness and support shown to all within Trinity St. Peter’s community.
It has been wonderful to see staff and parents come together to make sure all of our children have enjoyed another run up to Christmas this year at TSP. It really has been a magical time for them.
Staff are most grateful for the very thoughtful gifts that have been received today. Although they are never expected, they are very much appreciated.
On behalf of all staff and governors, we wish you all a very happy and holy Christmas.
Team TSP's Christmas Extravaganza!

Celebration of Kindness Week - The 2022 Launch!
Date: 11th Nov 2022 @ 3:27pm
Here it is...our sixth music video! Click the link to watch the video.
Trinity St Peter’s will once again be hosting its own Celebration of Kindness Week next week! This links strongly to our previous ‘Choose Kind’ motto and current 'Choose Wisely' motto. The celebration encompasses several national events over the next week, including: World Kindness Day, Anti-Bullying Week and Children in Need.
To kickstart our week of celebrations, we have once again created a very special music video, featuring the children, staff and friends of Trinity St. Peter's. The video reminds us to 'LAUGH MORE...WORRY LESS!'
If you want to watch any of our previous videos, click the links below:
We hope you enjoy this video and that the children are excited to take part in a range of activities - all linked to kindness - next week!

We are delighted to announce that we have been awarded the Primary Science Quality Mark. This award celebrates the school’s provision, practice and performance within Science and our commitment to continually improving standards.
The Primary Science Quality Mark is led by the University of Hertfordshire in collaboration with the Primary Science Teaching Trust.
Associate Professor Jane Turner, PSQM National Director said: “There was never a more important time for primary children to have a high-quality science education. The coronavirus pandemic and climate change crisis have made everyone aware of the importance of science in our world. Primary schools have an important role to ensure that children understand how science works and keeps us and our planet healthy and safe. Schools that have achieved a Primary Science Quality Mark have demonstrated a significant commitment to science teaching and learning. The profile and quality of science in each awarded school is very high. Children are engaging with great science both in and outside the classroom, developing positive attitudes towards science as well as secure scientific understanding and skills. Science subject leaders, their colleagues, head teachers, children, parents and governors should be very proud.”
