And just like that, it is the end of our first half term of the school year.

It has been a very busy half term and we have had none stop entertainment in Clubhouse.

We have been making the most of the lighter evenings (whilst they last). As always, the children have enjoyed playing outside this half term. They have especially enjoyed our new light up scooters, whizzing around the playground and watching the different colours light up. They have also enjoyed playing lots of playground games, including what’s the time Mr wolf, corners, octopus octopus and many more.

Inside, the craft area has been a big hit and there have been so many amazing creations. For some autumnal crafts, the children used a variety of materials and resources to create their very own scarecrows. They also enjoyed using the paints and different utensils to make some hedgehog pictures.

On the evenings that the weather was not on our side, some of the older children organised a variety of quizzes and games for everyone to join in with. They were highly requested by all of the children and the laughter and fun filled the air.

We have been very lucky in club, and after the children requesting, we have purchased a Nintendo switch which has been extremely popular. The children have shown great sportsman ship when playing the games.

We hope you all have a lovely half term holiday and we are looking forward to all of the festive celebrations next half term.
