Clubhouse - Spring 1 - Week 2

We have had another lovely week in Clubhouse!

The children have asked if our topic for the next few weeks can be space so we have dug out the rocket and blasted off to space. The children got creative with the junk modelling and designed their own space packs, choosing different items carefully for the various items on the jet packs. On Thursday, the children put their fine motor skills to the test and created some lovely art work with the binca fabric and wool. They carefully selected the colours and thickness of the wool in order to create their finished designs.

Our table top games and activities have been popular again this week, the children have been playing monopoly, dobble, guess who and battleships. Some children even decided to create their own games for the other children to play – what great imaginations.

Our nightly ‘Danny go’ and ‘Just Dance’ sessions are a big hit and keep everyone active – especially the staff and has been a great addition to our nightly routine. Hopefully we will be able to get outside again very soon once the nights become a bit lighter and warmer.
