Clubhouse-Spring 1-Week 6

And just like that, half term has arrived and what a busy few weeks we have had in Clubhouse.

The children’s creative juices have been flowing this half term and our craft area has been a constant hive of activity. Using a wide range of materials and resources, some children carefully designed and constructed their own houses. The children also took part in a range of themed activities, including Chinese New Year crafts, winter crafts and Valentine’s Day crafts.

When the weather has permitted, the children have loved spending time outside, whizzing around on the scooters, playing basketball and also making their own assault courses using various equipment. Some of the older children have also taken it upon themselves to organise playground games, explaining the rules carefully and helping the younger children along the way. A great time was had by all.

As always, our construction area has been extremely popular. The children have been constructing some very imaginative models, including a Noah’s Ark using their prior knowledge from RE lessons. The children have also been spending lots of time creating some amazing train tracks and even some fantastic mazes.
