Nursery - Spring 1 - Week 1

Welcome back everyone. It was so lovely to see you all back in Nursery. We hope you all had a lovely Christmas and Happy New Year!

The children were delighted to see all their friends again and to tell each other all about their Christmas break. It sounds like you have all had an amazing time!

This week we talked all about New Year and sat together to read two lovely books called ‘Happy New Year, Spot’ and ‘Squirrels New Year's Resolution’. We recapped other celebrations that we had learnt about last term, and the children noticed that lots of them involved beautiful firework displays and parties. We talked about what a ‘New Years Resolution’ is, and the children came up with something new that they could try and do in 2023. Well done everyone! 

On Friday Nursery took part in a fabulous dance lesson. The children practiced pointing their toes, tapping their feet and bending and stretching their legs. Nursery you were all amazing!
