Time flies when you’re having fun in Nursery!

This week Nursery have enjoyed learning all about Easter. The children enjoyed listening to the Easter story and we discussed the importance of this time. The children talked about how they celebrate at home and we even made chocolate Easter nests! At the end of the week the children enjoyed tasting hot cross buns. We talked about the significance of the hot cross bun and talked about the white cross representing the cross on which Jesus died.

On Tuesday, we had a very exciting visit from two little lambs called Johnny and Sonic. The children thoroughly enjoyed interacting with the lambs and learning about where they live on the farm. We discussed what happens during the lambing season and the children discussed what the lambs may need to keep healthy. Thank you so much to Charlotte for bringing the lambs in for Nursery to enjoy!

On Wednesday it was our Easter bonnet 'WOW' service at St Peter’s church. The children had been practicing a number of different songs to perform at church and they performed amazingly well! They all looked amazing in their Easter bonnets! Caroline and Anne then told the Easter story. Thank you so much for all the work you do for us.

On Thursday we had a very exciting surprise visit from the Easter bunny. We had an Easter dance and the bunny even gave everyone a little treat to take home.

We hope you all have a lovely Easter break and we look forward to seeing you soon.
