Clubhouse - Autumn 2 - Week 2

Date: 9th Nov 2023 @ 3:49pm

IMG_8136[1].JPG

What another busy week we have had in Clubhouse!

In honour of Remembrance Day, the children decorated their own poppy biscuits. Whilst decorating them we discussed why we celebrate Remembrance Day and about the significance of the history and how the poppy symbols remembrance and hope for a peaceful future.

The children have had an extremely creative week this week, using a range of resources and materials to create their favourite characters from Paw Patrol and Bluey. They carefully selected the different items they might need and manipulated the materials to create the desired look. Everyone was very excited about the firework display on Thursday, so to celebrate, they designed their own bonfire pictures using chalks and different techniques to create their own firework display.

As the nights are getting darker, we have been doing lots of dancing in club to burn off some energy. The children have loved following the ‘Go Danny!’ videos on the board and the laughter filled the air – the staff had ‘dance like a monkey’ in their heads for the rest of the evening.

After a bit of a move around of our room, our construction area has been extremely busy. Children of all ages worked together to build their own village out of Lego, complete with McDonalds and football pitch. It was lovely to see the joy on all of their faces as their village took shape and they then role played the different Lego characters in the different areas of the village.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend.

What a great first week back we have had!

It has been lovely welcoming all the children back after the half term break and hearing all about the adventures that they got up to.

Excitement filled the air on Tuesday as the children were extremely excited about Halloween. We got creative and designed our own pumpkins using a variety of resources and materials. The children then created their own midnight animal pictures using the collage materials and paint. On Wednesday, they made some bonfire night pictures using chalk designs, they lit up our room.

The construction area has been a hive of activity this week with the children connecting their learning back to their lessons in school and using the kinnex to construct towers and compare their heights. The children quickly realised that the taller the tower, the weaker it became and they had to rebuild them in order for them to stay standing.

The board games have also been popular this week including monopoly, chess, draughts and snakes and ladders. The children were able to take turns and explain the rules to any children that did not understand.

Our role play area has transformed into a hairdresser and the staff were lucky enough to get treated to some hair styling- we know where to go next time we need our hair doing.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend.

Where have the last 7 weeks since September gone!  I cannot believe Half Term is finally upon us.

Despite the weather becoming decidedly autumnal, we have still managed to get outside to burn off our energy.  Our younger members were fortunate to use the Year 1 area, whilst parents evening was on.  They performed on the stage, exercised with Mrs Grayson and played school in the shelter.  Our older children, didn’t miss out and were able to use the play equipment and explore the wooded area outside Year 2.  I think they all enjoyed the change of scene!

Inside the children have enjoyed playing board games, Pop up Pirate; Snakes and Ladders and Chess to name a few.  A giant domino run was created, which nearly spanned across the width of the room.  We have also been honing our speed stacking skills – we have some extremely skilled stackers!

All in all, a busy week, to finish a busy term.

Have a lovely break everyone.

IMG_7772.JPG

And just like that, we are one week closer to half term.

We have had a very autumnal week this week in club. To start the week the children enjoyed decorating their own biscuits in the design of a pumpkin. They selected the right colour icing and then used chocolate chips for the eyes and the mouth. The children thoroughly enjoyed decorating them but they definitely enjoyed eating them more.

On Tuesday, we celebrated hello yellow day which had been celebrated throughout the school day. We drew around a child on a big piece of paper and then together as a team we filled the person with all things that make us unique and special. We continued to work on this throughout the week until every child had added their own drawings and we had our very own unique new member of club.

The children were very excited on Friday to celebrate Alder Hey PJ day. They coloured in some bunting and pictures to decorate club and discussed how they could raise money for Alder Hey.

Outside, the children decided to take part in a mini beast hunt trying to find as many as they could. The children discussed how there are more minibeasts than usual for this time of year and connected their learning back and realised it is because it is much warmer this year than usual.

We have had a lovely week in Clubhouse!

As the nights are starting to draw in, we have been spending a lot of quality time inside.

The table top games and activities such as cat and mouse, jenga and jigsaws have been extremely popular this week. The children showed great hand-eye coordination and team work to pick the correct pieces and slot them into the right place of the jigsaw to create the finished product.

We also made some autumn playdough this week, following the recipe carefully and discussing what we could add to the playdough to make it autumnal. The children decided to add some orange food colouring and all spice to mix to make it smell and look more autumnal. This sparked the conversation about our senses, the children donned their black thinking caps and connected their learning to their science lessons and thought about their five senses and the variety of autumnal items they could, touch, smell, hear, see and taste.

The shoe shop was open for business this week in our role play area, the sound of tap shoes filled the air as the children measured their feet and tried on different shoes to see which ones fit.

Although the weather is turning, we were still able to venture outside most of this week to burn off a bit of excess steam and play some group games. On the nights where the weather wasn’t so pleasant, we went down to the hall and played a big game of dodgeball – fun was had by all.

We hope you all have a fantastic weekend, see you next week!

Clubhouse - Autumn 1 - Week 3

IMG_7361.JPG

Wow, we can not believe another week has flown by so quickly!

The children have really enjoyed spending lots of time outside this week, they especially liked setting up and playing a range of playground games in the sunshine including a bug in a rug, duck, duck, goose, corners and Granny’s footsteps. The children took it in turns to chose a game and then explain the rules to the rest of the children. Lots of fun was had in the process.

We are starting to feel very Autumnal, in preparation for the Harvest celebrations. The children have thoroughly enjoyed making their own scarecrow for St Peter’s Church Festival of Scarecrows. They each drew their own scarecrow, then worked together to combine their designs and create a real scarecrow. We can not wait to see the finished designs in and around church in the coming weeks. Carrying on with the autumn theme, the children also enjoyed making their own scarecrow paper plates. They used string for the hair, bottle lids for the eyes and then used pencils to add any more details that they wanted. We can’t wait to see what Autumn activities we will be doing in the coming weeks.

After having so much fun in their circus workshops, the circus skills have continued in Club. We got the juggling balls out and the children shared their top tips on how to juggle, they also used the hoola hoops to do a variety of tricks. We also have some budding gymnasts who would definitely fit in well in the circus. It is safe to say, everyone is extremely excited for the circus next week.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend.

What another lovely week we have had in Clubhouse!

The children have all settled back into the routine of club and the fun and laugher has been filling the air.

As the weather has cooled down a bit this week, the children have especially enjoyed spending lots of time outside. Some of the children were very creative and put on a shadow puppet show for the rest of the children, using their shadows to creative different shapes and act out their story. The scooters and bikes have also been a big hit, with the children burning off some energy by whizzing around the playground. They then created their own assault course and had a relay race around the obstacles.

Inside, the construction area has been very popular. The children used a variety of materials and resources to build towers, bridges and houses, persevering until they had created their visions. They have also enjoyed building the tallest marble runs and racing to see which marbles reached the bottom first.

In our creative area, the children have asked if they could make their own houses to put on display in our club. They carefully drew pictures of their family and then stuck them onto a coloured house. We can’t wait to see the final results.

We can’t wait to see what excitement next week brings.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend.

What a fantastic, sunny start we have had in Clubhouse!

It has been lovely welcoming some new faces and lots of familiar ones back into club this week and seeing how much everyone has grown over the summer holidays! We have enjoyed listening to all the adventures that everyone went on and all the fun days out that had been had– it sounds like everyone had a lovely time. Even better that the lovely weather has continued this week, although it did mean that we needed ice lollies to help to cool us down (any excuse).

The children have settled really well back into the club routine and the older children have taken it upon themselves to show the new children around. They have been enjoying lots of table top games and activities such as jigsaws, jenga, cat and mouse and beehive.

The table tennis table has been a big hit and earlier in the week the children requested to have a mini tournament. They organised themselves into teams and together, decided on the rules of the tournament and carefully wrote down each team score. All of them showed fantastic sportsmanship and team work and really followed our ‘enjoy’ value.

As it was a bit too hot to venture outside at the beginning of the week, a few children asked if they could create their own game of dodgeball in the hall. They selected the equipment that they needed and set up the game called ‘dodgeball but with a special twist.’ It was so popular that the children have already asked when they can next play.

We hope everyone has a lovely weekend and we are looking forward to what exciting activities next week has to offer.

We have reached the end of the final week of term and the academic year.  It will be sad to see our Year 6 children leave us, however I am sure that they are ready for a new adventure in pastures new and we wish them the very best.  All at club would like to thank everyone for their kind gifts, and holiday wishes.  No matter what your plans for the six weeks away, we hope that they are filled with fun and laughter.  We hope everyone gets the chance to recharge their batteries; ready to come back for a busy new academic year.

Happy holidays everyone.

The penultimate week of the academic year has come to the end.  As always, the children have been busy, noisy and full of spirit, with thoughts and tales of holidays and days out to come.

This week, the children have made excellent use of the table tennis table.  Their skills are certainly improving, as well as their exuberance! They have also been putting their balance to the test, along the wobbly sensory beams.

Our craft table has been popular. The children have been making and designing their own cardboard flip flops. By the number of stickers and motifs used, despite not being wearable, they would definitely stick to the feet!

On Tuesday, we had an impromptu disco party.  The speaker came out and moves were put to the test.  A conga line snaked around the playground and everyone was encouraged to join in.  Requests were made, and it seems we have a very eclectic range of music favourites, clearly influenced by home. On Wednesday, the parachute came out, giving our arms a workout!  The children enjoyed running under it, and playing popcorn with the soft balls – lots of energy burnt collecting them from around the playground as well!

Happy weekend everyone!

IMG_2515[1].JPG

Well, this week has certainly flown by!

We have a had a very crafty week in club, the glitter made an appearance and the whole room twinkled and shone!  The children enjoyed the continuation of our summer theme, creating jelly fish and sparkly shells.  In honour of the beginning of Wimbledon, we have had a sporty vibe on the colouring table.  Children have coloured and designed their own tennis rackets, clothing and foot ware – the bolder and brighter seems to be the design favourite.

Our camping area, is as popular as ever.  Off on an expedition, the rucksack was packed, the rangers’ hat donned and camp set up.  After a long day exploring a camp fire was built (using wooden blocks) and a tasty meal was made!

Construction, and building seems to be a very popular past time.  Whether it be camp fires, or elaborate high rise towers, strong enough to hold a water bottle.  The wooden blocks certainly seem to have a multitude of uses and spark the imagination of our members, young and old.

Outdoors, we have continued to enjoy the warm evenings.  We have loved having the water troughs out. Water slides were created using the ramps, and the cars were raced down into the bubbly water.  Engineering skills were tested.  Boats and rafts were designed and made.  They were then put to the test to see which would float or sadly sink.  Most floated and some were even able to support a few mini passengers.

Wishing everyone a wonderful weekend.

Where do the weeks go?  Another one has flown by and Clubhouse has yet again been a hive of activity, fun, laughter and noise!

On Thursday morning, the children got into a bit of a twist, with an all welcoming game of Twister.  They got themselves in a tangle and put their balance and strength to the test, trying to hold their positions – not an easy task.

The children got into the building spirit by donning the hard hats and high-vis jackets in our Construction Area.  They made elaborate enclosures, big enough to fit themselves inside! A robot wars enclosure was erected and even included robots made from the Mobilo. The Lego has also been a popular pastime.  Lego cities, sky scrapers and stadiums have been assembled.  I think we have a few budding architects and engineers in our midst.

We’ve had mixed weather this week, but so far haven’t been rained on, so have managed to get outside and run off some energy.  As ever a friendly game of football is always popular, however this week to the delight of the children, we have been able to take the table tennis table out, for a game of ping pong.

Outside we also enjoyed water play.  Investigating which items floated and which sank.  The children also liked creating their own water filled ball pool, rolling the balls down the ramp into the bubbly pool.

Wishing you all a fabulous weekend.

What a lovely week we have had in Clubhouse!

Now that it is not quite so warm, we have been making the most of going outside and getting some fresh air. In particular, the children enjoyed playing some playground games such as duck, duck, goose and stuck in the mud. They also enjoyed whizzing around on the scooters and bikes, making assault courses to complete. As sports day is looming, the children have also been practicing some of their sports day races, especially the three-leg race, everyone got involved – as well as the staff much to children’s delight.

The fun continued inside in our campsite and ice cream parlour, the children got crafty and used a variety of materials and resources to make some of their own ice creams to sell in the parlour. They looked delicious – if only we could really eat them!

The crafts didn’t stop there, the children have been putting their fine motor skills to practice and been creating some beautiful pieces of jewellery, carefully choosing and threading the beads that they wanted to make their desired effect.

Some of the older children have decided to hold a dance competition in club over the coming weeks so have spent lots of time designing posters so that all of the children can begin to practice for the event.

In our construction area, some of the children have been using the bigger blocks to make a domino run, carefully balancing them to make sure that they didn’t all fall down before they wanted them to. They created different obstacles for the blocks to go over and under before pushing them down and seeing how far they went. It was inspired us to order some mega domino run sets to see what creations we can make.

Wow it has been a warm week this week!

As the evenings have been so warm, we have not had a chance to venture outside this week so instead we have been having lots of fun inside.

Our role play area has brought great excitement to club and the children have thoroughly enjoyed acting out their own experiences in our very own campsite. They used their imaginations and created a pretend fire using blocks and different coloured paper and then used some cotton wool and sticks to make some pretend marshmallows for toasting. They children then worked together to construct the tent and set up the campsite, we can tell that some of them have had lots of camping experience.

In the creative area, the children donned their creative thinking hats and designed their own keyrings. They were thrilled with the final products and lots of children couldn’t wait to give them as a gift for Father’s Day.

As it has been so warm, we have had lots of water play in club this week. The children were very helpful and cleaned lots of the toys, as well as keeping themselves nice and cool. They then used the washing up liquid to create their own magic potion, adding different items to make it just right.

A polite reminder to please send your children in with suncream as we are hoping to get outside a bit more next week.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend.

It has been so lovely to welcome everyone back and hear all about their lovely half term holidays.

We have come back with a bang and had another busy, but fun week in club.

The sun has continued to shine this week and we have loved spending some time outside. The children have enjoyed showing off their tennis skills in our swingball competition on Wednesday. The children all showed great sportsmanship, cheering each other on and helping others who weren’t sure how to play the game. On this note, just a little reminder to please bring suncream into school which can be reapplied before going outside in club.

The construction area has been very popular this week, the children have continued to build their planned designs, designing their own model village. They then decided to build a train track to run through the village so that the Lego people could move around – what great imaginations we have here at TSP!

The talent hasn’t stopped there, the children can’t get enough of performing in club and we have been luckily enough to watch a variety of shows and performances throughout the evenings. We hope that they continue.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend.

And just like that, it is half term!

We can’t believe how quickly this half term has gone and this week has been no exception.

The continuation of the sunny weather has meant that we have spent lots of time outside. The children particularly enjoyed listening to music and having a sing and a dance on Wednesday evening, it really felt like the start of the summer! They also created an assault course and enjoyed whizzing around on the scooters, making sure to dodge all of the cones – what great skills they all have!

The fun continued inside, where the children took part in various craft activities. On Thursday, the children designed their own bracelets, carefully selecting the right beads to create the desired look. They also became artist and were inspired by Yayoi Kusama (a dot art artist) to create their own dot art pictures using cotton buds and paint. The finished pieces looked so effective!

Our role play area has transformed into a travel agent, getting us all into the holiday spirit. The children enjoyed looking through the brochures to choose their selected holiday, they then booked their holidays and converted some money in our bureau de change. There was a buzz in the air as everyone discussed their dream holidays and the holidays that they have planned with their families.

We hope you all have a lovely week off, hopefully the sun keeps on shining!

We can’t believe how quickly this half term is going!

The sun has been shining and we have had another lovely week in club. As the weather has been so nice, we have spent lots of time outside. The children put on their creative hats and transformed our playground into an art gallery full of their fantastic pictures and designs using chalks. Some children decided to make their own games such as hopscotch, whilst others used their imaginations to create their own role play areas. Towards the end of the week, the children asked if they could clean the playground ready to create more designs, although we actually think the children had more fun playing with the water than using the chalk. We are looking forward to more summer evenings like this.

Inside, the construction area has been a hive of activity. The children have been constructing some incredible models with the Lego. They worked together to carefully select the pieces that they needed to create their visions. The children persisted with the task and showed great resilience when the models did not go to plan. However, the final results were fantastic and the children were all extremely proud.

You may also have noticed the installation of our Community Book Swap Box here at Trinity St. Peter's. This has been installed in memory of Margaret Blake, a past Governor here at TSP, who loved coming in to school and hearing children read. It is located on the wall (near the defibrillator) and the idea is for the whole community (adults and children) to use this book swap box so we can share our love for reading with all!

After looking at our suggestion’s poster in club, we have decided to turn our role play area into a garden centre. The children are waiting with anticipation to see how it turns out.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend, see you next week!

Eurovision fever has struck in Clubhouse!

We have had a fabulous week in club, celebrating all things Eurovision and showing off our performing arts skills. The children have loved jumping on our stage and dancing and singing their hearts out. They took it in turns to practice their acts and then perform to the rest of club – it felt like our very own Eurovision song contest. It was so nice to see some children really grow in confidence as the week went on. We definitely have some children destined to be on the stage!

The sunshine has brought a smile to everyone’s face this week and we have loved making the most of it in our outdoor area. The children requested to play some good old-fashioned playground games including duck, duck goose, what’s the time Mr Wolf and Granny’s footsteps. We are very excited about coming second in the recent Tesco community grant so we are looking forward to spending the money on some more outdoor equipment. Thanks again for all of your support to make this happen.

Inside, the children have enjoyed a variety of activities and table top games where we encouraged a bit of healthy competition by creating a tournament. The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and have asked for more tournaments in the future – watch this space

We hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

IMG_2227[1].JPGWhat an exciting week we have had this week!

On Wednesday, we had a very special visit from King Charles III, who came to attended our afternoon tea party. The children were all extremely excited to see him and couldn’t wait to share all of their knowledge about London and the Royal family. The children especially enjoyed eating some delicious scones with lots of jam and cream – what a treat!

The festive spirit didn’t stop there, we have transformed the role play area into a London City scene complete with Big Ben and double decker bus. The children have been hopping on the bus to arrive at various locations across London including the Great Tower of London and Buckingham Palace. They then used the variety of dressing up clothes and masks to transform into character and take on the different roles of the Royal family.

In the craft area, the children have been taking part in lots of Coronation crafts. They carefully selected and cut out a variety of pictures and then used them to create a collage of the King. Some children also decided to make some paper plate crowns using lots of glitter and sequins, they were very excited about wearing them at home whilst watching the Coronation.

Outside, the children continued to enjoy being in the sunshine, playing lots of group games and whizzing around on the scooters. We have had some requests to have a picnic, so let’s hope the weather stays nice ready for next week.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend and enjoy all of your Coronation celebrations.

What a crafty week we have had!

The children have spent lots of time getting creative in club this week. Through lots of trial and error, the children used various equipment and materials from the junk modelling box to make some amazing models. The children used their imaginations to think of what they wanted to make and carefully selected the correct shapes and colours to create their finished products. The children were bursting with pride at the finished results. They then came up with the idea to turn our role play area into London in preparation for the King’s coronation. As a result of this, they wanted to make Big Ben out of cardboard boxes – we can’t wait to see the finished results next week!

As always, we have been making the most of the sunny evenings by spending lots of time outside. Last week, the children had asked for more playground balls to play with so they were very excited when they arrived this week. The children then worked together in teams to create different games for each group to play. The laughter and giggles filled the playground and they all seemed to have a great time.

In breakfast club, the children have been enjoying playing higher and lower. Suspense was in the air as the children predicted which card would come next. They enjoyed it so much that they decided to create their own versions of the game – what great imaginations.

We hope you all enjoy your long weekend, let’s hope the sun comes out.

What a fantastic first week back we have had! We can’t believe how much everyone has grown over the Easter holidays (it must be all of the Easter Eggs that everyone recieved).

It has been lovely welcoming everyone back this week after what sounded like a fun filled Easter holiday. Clubhouse has been filled with chatter as everyone discussed what they had been up to and the various places that people had visited.

The summer term has hopefully brought us the lovely sunny weather and the children have loved spending so much time outside this week. The children have enjoyed playing with bubbles, having games of tennis and whizzing around on the scooters. Let’s hope this lovely weather is here to stay.

We have converted our role play area into a train station in preparation for our London theme for the Kings Coronation. The children have all had a great time using their imaginations and hopping on the train until they arrived at the different locations. We even had some children show off their great acting skills by putting on different accents depending where the destination was. It has been lovely to see children of all ages engaging and collaborating with each other to imagine their dream destinations.

As always, our group games have been a big hit this week. The children have played some classic circle games and also created some of their own games to play in a group. Some older children took charge and carefully planned, set up and carried out their games. Laughter filled the air as the children all took part and they all enjoyed every minute of it.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend.

We cannot believe it is the end of term already! Time flies when you are having fun.

Well done to our design you own Easter Egg competition winners, but more importantly, well done to everyone who took part. We had some amazing designs and it was clear that the children spent a lot of time and effort creating their designs.

Our craft area has been extremely popular this week with lots of Easter crafts available to make. Some children enjoyed decorating some plaster of paris Easter eggs, whilst others carefully made some Easter bunny baskets and ears.

Following on from our Easter theme, we made and decorated some delicious Easter themed cakes. The children carefully read and followed the instructions and worked together to bake some yummy cakes – it was worth all of the mess.

As always, the children have loved going outside for fresh air and lots of playground games. Hopefully the weather continues to improve and we can get outside more after the Easter holidays.

We hope you all have a lovely, relaxing Easter break and we are looking forward to seeing you all in the summer term.

What a fantastic week we have had this week!

It has been packed with so many fun activities and lots of laughs along the way.

It was the start of our ‘design your own Easter Egg’ competition this week, where children of all ages were encouraged to design their own special egg. The children definitely put their creative hats on and carefully designed and decorated their eggs. We will continue to do this next week, so don't worry if you haven't had a chance to take part yet. We can’t wait to announce the winners on Thursday.

On Monday, some of the older children created an Easter Egg hunt for everyone to take part in where they had to find different coloured eggs around the room. They took their time to carefully think of the rules and then explain them to the other children. The older children then connected their learning to their maths lessons and showed some great mathematical skills as they added together to points of each team. Everyone had so much fun, that they requested to play it again on Wednesday!

Luckily, we have been able to get outside most nights this week for some fresh air. The children have loved whizzing around the playground on the bikes and scooters and also enjoyed some traditional playground games.

After lots of requests, we did some biscuit decorating on Tuesday. Together, we explored different types of spring flowers and then used a variety of ingredients to decorate the biscuits to look like the different flowers. It was very messy, but the finished results looked lovely and I’m sure they tasted even better.

Polite reminder that Clubhouse is not open on Friday 31st March as school finishes at 1pm.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend.

We have had such a fun week in club!

Teamwork has been a running theme this week, it has been so nice to see the children playing and working together to come up with different games and activities to take part in.

As the weather was a bit miserable on Monday, the children loved going to the hall to play lots of games. They played the floor is lava, duck duck goose and showed off their impressive dance moves when dancing to songs on go noodle.

On Wednesday, the children took part in a scavenger hunt in club to find an item beginning with each letter of the alphabet. The children were able to communicate effectively in their teams and work collaboratively to came up with some very creative ideas for each letter.

As usual, our craft area has been jam-packed with activities this week. From Mother’s Day gifts, to creative colouring and designing their own red noses. The children have been great at coming up with ideas for activities and crafts that they would like to make in the coming weeks.

We have had some very impressive looking models built in our construction area, it took a lot of perseverance and patience to carefully balance each block on top of each other until the children eventually made their vision. They were so proud of their finished results and loved showing off the pictures of the models to their grownups when they were collected.

At the end of the week, we dusted off our dancing shoes ready to learn some Irish dancing for St Patrick’s day. The children were incredible, we will have to give Michael Flatley a call and let him know we have some children ready to join Riverdance.

Another polite reminder to please keep putting your blue tokens in the box in Tesco so that we can make our outdoor area spectacular. We are currently doing so well and it would be lovely to see all the children’s faces light up if we were able to get some more equipment.

We hope you all have a fantastic weekend!

What a fantastic week we have had!

The children have loved being in our craft area this week and have been getting into the spirit of spring (even though the weather took a miserable turn towards the end of the week). They used a variety of materials and resources to decorate some spring animal pictures, it made us all very excited for the warmer weather. We have also been busy making some lovely surprises for our special people at home for Mother’s Day. The children are so excited to decorate them next week ready to give to their special people.

Our new air hockey table has been a big hit and all of the children have thoroughly enjoyed teaming up for some tournaments. Tournaments have been a running theme in club over the past few weeks, with the other children organising fun activities for all to join in with.

After the bad weather on Thursday, we decided to go to the hall to play a variety of games. The children loved playing splat, wink detective and duck, duck goose – you can’t beat some playground games.

We hope you all have a lovely weekend, let’s hope the weather brightens up a little bit.
